(hereinafter referred to as the "Company")
is the administrator of your personal data. For this reason, the Company provides you with further information regarding the processing of your personal data below.
ÚPurpose of processing
Your personal data will be processed mainly for marketing purposes, which means (hereinafter collectively referred to as "marketing purposes"):
- offering VOLVO products and services,
- storing in the customer database to promote the Company's products and services,
- sending commercial communications (newsletters, invitations to social events, etc.),
- customer satisfaction survey and market research.
If you are already its customer, or if you intend to become its customer, the Company is entitled to send you certain commercial communications without your explicit consent. However, you still have the right to express your disagreement with sending them.
We also process your personal data in order to fulfill legal obligations and obligations arising from contracts concluded with you.
List of processed personal data
For marketing purposes, the Company processes the following personal data (except for those that will not be provided to the Company): name and surname; year of birth; address; email address; telephone number; information about the use of Company products and services.
In addition, we store the following personal information to observe the legal obligations of the contracts concluded with you: service history, data contained in the accounting and tax documents issued to you.
Companies use the following communication channels for marketing purposes: email; postal services; telephone.
Legal reasons for processing
Companies process personal data only for legal reasons, usually based on your consent or in connection with execution of the contract. Companies may also process personal data based on their legitimate interest, especially in case of a lawsuit or claim for damages caused by you.
Retention period of personal data
The aforementioned personal data will be processed by the Companies as personal data administrators for a period of 5 years, however, at most until the revocation of your consent to the processing. If companies process personal data based on their legitimate interest, the data will be kept for as long as is necessary.
Transmission of personal data
Your personal data may only be transferred within the European Union, usually only to Volvo Car Czech Republic s.r.o., Company ID: 639 81 726, registered office: K Chotobuzi 333, 251 01 Čestlice, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file no. C 39848, and at the Volvo Group headquarters (Volvo Car Corporation) in Sweden. Your personal information may also be made available to external suppliers that the Companies delegate certain services.
Voluntary nature of consent
Your consent to the processing of personal data and the sending of marketing communications is voluntary and can be revoked at any time. You may revoke your consent by written notice to the registered office address of the Company or to the email address listed in the Contact Information section below, or through any other communication channel that the Company will operate in the future for this purpose.
In case of revocation of consent via e-mail address, it is necessary to use the e-mail address provided to the Companies to verify your identity. If you have not provided us with your e-mail address, the consent cannot be revoked by e-mail.
As a result of your revocation of consent, you will in no way incur any damage or be treated less favorably. However, revoking your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data based on your consent given in the past until it is revoked. Revocation of the consent will only result in more difficult communication between you and the Companies regarding your awareness of the current offer of Companies or the possibility to tailor the offers and services to your needs.
You have the right to access and update your personal data under the conditions provided by law; in certain cases you have the right to delete them, restrict their processing and transfer personal data to another administrator. You also have the right to object free of charge to the processing of your personal data. You can also file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic, located at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic.
